Fameccanica, a manufacturer of converters for the production of disposable absorbent sanitary products, has announced it will host an Open House at its Fameccanica Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. production facility. The event will take place October 13-14, during SINCE 2011, The Shanghai International Nonwovens Exhibition.

The Open House will showcase the firm’s growth from its inception as a sales and service office in 1998, through its present form as Fameccanica Machinery (Shanghai) Co., winner of recent commendations from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce & Shanghai Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment.

Its new 16,000(10,500 sqm for production, 5,500 sqm for offices) is more than double its original size in both personnel and manufacturing output.The facility currently accommodates over 230 employees with up to 50 more hires planned in the near future.

All existing and potential Fameccanica customers are invited to attend the Open House.
